The Chevrolet Volt is available starting this summer at the Detroit Michigan Auto Show. It’s set to be available in three levels—high-speed, low-speed and all-electric, and it also has the same 2:1 compression ratio as its twin, Chevrolet Volt. It’ll sell for $35,000 ($30,000 for the gasoline version), but will cost less than the Volt with higher-priced competitors. It comes in four colors: white, pink, purple, or red, with a few exceptions, which is what we’re hearing.

The model’s low-speed drivetrain makes it a bit too fast.

A „second-hand” gasoline version of the Chevrolet Volt cost $35,000, and it’s been confirmed it’ll be available in six colors. It has its own manual transmission for handling of slower speeds from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm. There’s also an independent ignition system (which has a higher-cranking speed) on top of the conventional ones, but it’s not available on the Volt.
