„To write about these people is really, really insulting and, frankly, incredibly disrespectful to me. In the last two years, the health ministry has saved $16 million from the annual „Save the World Fund,” which was established to help provide urgently needed donations and assistance for girls, women and children in Uganda.

According to the organisation, the aid fund was set up for those who had access to free contraceptives, free education, clothing and medical care.

The funds, which are paid for by donors from the United States, include $12 million provided to assist victims of sexual violence.

Save the World, which was founded by Ugandans who were forced out of their homes by the government of Uganda in 2008 after a decades-long campaign, said this year the charity was aiming to return the money to the United States.

„There are still some survivors but they are working everyday,” a senior member of Save the World said in the African Republic.
